Best restaurant in Asuncion! The service is first-class, and the waiters are very attentive. I dine here frequently, and I am always served politely and courteously. The food is delicious and excellently prepared. In my opinion, it is the best restaurant in the city, and I highly recommend it. There are two additional private rooms in the restaurant that can be reserved. Here is a small selection of photos of the dishes I enjoy here.
Elegant, but not overly formal, Peruvian restaurant offering high quality food both from the Peruvian tradition and international dishes (some clearly Italian inspired: the ossobuco with gnocchi is a hit!). Prices reflect the quality of the ingredients, preparation and service (i.e. it is not cheap). The business lunch, at around 10 USD equivalent price, is a solid offer to try the cuisine of this restaurant with an entree, a main dish and a dessert. Unfortunately the price does not include any drink (which is rather uncommon) and there is a cover charge, which at 1,5 USD is not much per se, but amounts at almost 15% the business lunch price! So between drinks, cover charge and tips, expect to pay at least 15 USD for lunch (which for Paraguay is definitely on the expensive side). Is it still worth it? Absolutely! When you want to treat yourself, this is a great place to do so. And having tried it, we want to go back for a proper dinner one of these days!
Simply perfect! If you go there you can never go wrong. First time I ordered a delicious soup called Parihuela and last time Lomito a la parrilla con spaghetti a la Huancaína and omg the attention and incredibly warm and respectful and the atmosphere is very quiet, romantic and sophisticated
Authentic and pure Peruvian food. The food was excellent. The wait service was courteous and attentive. It's a restaurant that, I must say, is far above the local standards of quality. You really should go; you won't regret it.
